UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The Bureau shall review all plans, prior to construction. Fire Alarm, fire sprinkler, fire protection systems and hood and duct systems, shall be submitted directly to the District for review and approval. An approved, stamped set of these plans shall be on site and available during construction. Plans should be submitted directly to the Bureau, with fees, for approval. Plans will be returned as soon as possible. The fee schedule is listed below along with select forms and guidelines.
Structural plans should be submitted to either the City of Lathrop, for jobs located within the city boundaries; or to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department, for areas located in the un-incorporated areas of the Fire District.

| a. Fee Schedule.The City Council or Board of Supervisors (depending on jurisdiction) shall, by Resolution, adopt a fee schedule for the permits, plan checking and inspections required by this division | ||||||
| b. Public Agencies. Fees shall be required, pursuant to this section, of a mutual corporation, the State of California, political subdivisions of the State of California, or the United States of America | ||||||
| c. Refunds. All fees shall be non-refundable, except where the City, County, or Fire District does not have jurisdiction to act on an application, a one hundred percent (100%) refund shall be given | ||||||

d. Enforcement Actions.
Applications made to correct violations of the
requirements of this Division shall be pay a fee equal to
two (2) times the application, up to a maximum of five
hundred dollars ($500.00) over the application fee normally
charged. Inspections are required on the above construction(s). Welded pipe inspections are required for sprinkler systems. |
